The company HANSATAUCHER was founded in 1968 by Leopold Krüger and Claus Günzlein. Back then, there was a special demand for fast, mobile and modern task forces for performing ship inspections and cleaning ship hulls. HANSADIVER quickly made a good name for themselves and successfully expanded into the areas of construction site diving and offering services for official bodies, shipyards, shipping companies and civil engineering companies.
